this has turned out not to be a desert, but far worse. this beautiful landscape has been replicated and overtaken by imperialism and weaponry. by violent men and tectonic machinery. by invasion and domination. by obliteration. once lively communities now live in ash at the hands of governmental intervention.
under the guise of fighting for one's country,
many innocent people suffer
along with the land they live on. where will they eat breakfast tomorrow? where will they pray without land? without a home?
